Cease Existance

As we grow up, we are given more and more responsibilities. No longer can we pee in bed and draw on the walls with markers. No more can we leave dirty dishes on the table and leave our toys and clothes all over the room. The older we get, the more we have to become invisible to the rest of society. we must clean up behind ourselves, and leave not a trace of where we once were, essentially becoming ghosts. Once we were able to show our love by leaving a shoe in the middle of a hallway knowing that someone would pick it up, knowing the ones who did cared about you. Now we must pick up our own shoes, and because of this, we live in constant fear of not knowing who really loves us. As we get older, we realise life is not full big messes of creativity, but of huge empty cleanliness, which, in time, forces us to become unimaginative, and to blindly follow society's rules.

I am starting a revolution. I invite you all to leave your mark. Every morning, when drinking your coffee/tea/hot cocoa/oj, leave your cup half full on the table. The people after you will not know whether to throw the juice away or to keep it. If they throw it away, you can then interrupt them and show them how much you love them by asking why they threw the contents of your cup away. If the cup is left where it is, it will symbolise just a small fraction of yourself, of your past, of your coming and going, the history of that faithful day where you woke up and had breakfast. The day where the people who came after you didn't just see an empty, soulless room, but a room with a small glimmer of hope. A place where once, a life passed by.

Maybe this action will inspire the ones around you to do the same. In the perfect scenario, the house and the places you visit will be covered in personality! Rainbow socks on the doorknob, underwear carelessly, but tactically left on the bed, a hat sitting on the border of a table, a napkin with a drawing of a 12 headed dragon, a ring in the fishbowl, a white wall with a children's drawings in marker, unique, beautiful things everywhere! A place where different generations can see each others creativity! This action can then evolve in a town or a city, where when you walk outside, paintings, cars, and people are all expressing their imaginative and creative side without any repression from the society that is today.

And that my friends will be when the real revolution begins.

But it all starts with you. So give it a try. Make the ones close to you notice the inner you. You might be surprised with the results ;)
